Chambliss Newsome graduates from Georgia Southwestern State University

Chambliss Newsome of Leesburg graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremony held on Thursday, May 4 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. Newsome earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in middle grade education summa cum laude and was one of 250 graduates.

The commencement speaker was John Watford, president of South Georgia Technical College and an alumnus of GSW.
