Jessica Taylor Graduates from Georgia Southwestern State University

Jessica Taylor of Pearson graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2013 Commencement Ceremony held on Saturday, May 4 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood Education cum laude and was one of 306 graduates.

The commencement speaker was Georgia Sen. Jason Carter, and he was introduced by his grandfather, President Jimmy Carter, who attended Georgia Southwestern.

Georgia Southwestern State University, located in Americus, Ga., is a public, four-year unit of the University System of Georgia with 3,000 students. Georgia Southwestern offers outstanding professional programs of study as well as programs in the arts, humanities, sciences and graduate programs in business, computer science, education, English, and nursing.
