Sally Russell graduates from Georgia Southwestern State University

Sally Russell of Americus graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2016 Commencement Ceremony held on Friday, May 6 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with teacher certification magna cum laude and was one of 247 graduates.

The commencement speaker was retired Sen. George Hooks, a 32-year veteran of the Georgia legislature.
