Susanna Turner of Albany selected as Georgia Southwestern's 2014 Outstanding Scholar

Future honor graduate Susanna Turner of Albany was recognized Friday, May 2 with Georgia Southwestern State University's highest academic honor. During the Graduation and Honors Convocation, Turner, a psychology major, was named GSW's 2014 Outstanding Scholar.

2014 Dolores Capitan Writing Award Winners Announced

Made possible through the generous support of GSW President Emeritus William Capitan, Ph.D., and the late Dolores Capitan, the Dolores Capitan Writing Award celebrates writing. The 2014 winners were named at the publication reception for "Sirocco" on April 16 in the Marshall Student Center Faculty Dining Room. "Sirocco," Georgia Southwestern State University's Arts Magazine, is published in April of each year by students.
